The 2006 Municipal Storm Water Management Plan (MSWMP) provides a foundation for San Bernardino County Storm Water Permittees to implement model programs designed to prevent pollutants from entering receiving waters to the maximum extent practicable. The description and detail of how this is to be accomplished on a local level is contained in the Local Implementation Plan (LIP). The LIP is designed to work in conjunction with the MSWMP, and each city and the County have developed a comprehensive LIP that is specific to its jurisdiction.
